Psalm 1

1:1 Blessed is the man who doesn’t walk in the counsel of the wicked,
nor stand in the way of sinners,
nor sit in the seat of scoffers;
1:2 but his delight is in Yahweh’s law.
On his law he meditates day and night.
1:3 He will be like a tree planted by the streams of water,
that brings forth its fruit in its season,
whose leaf also does not wither.
Whatever he does shall prosper.
1:4 The wicked are not so,
but are like the chaff which the wind drives away.
1:5 Therefore the wicked shall not stand in the judgment,
nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
1:6 For Yahweh knows the way of the righteous,
but the way of the wicked shall perish.

詩篇　１篇


1 幸いなことよ。悪者のはかりごとに歩まず、罪人の道に立たず、あざける者の座に着かなかった、その人。

2 まことに、その人は主のおしえを喜びとし、昼も夜もその教えを口ずさむ。

3 その人は、水路のそばに植わった木のようだ。時が来ると実がなり、その葉は枯れない。その人は、何をしても栄える。

4 悪者は、それとは違い、まさしく、風が吹き飛ばすもみがらのようだ。

5 それゆえ、悪者は、さばきの中に立ちおおせず、罪人は正しい者のつどいに立てない。

6 まことに、主は、正しい者の道を知っておられる。しかし、悪者は滅びうせる。
